About Swatching

• A swatch is required to obtain the pattern. Which swatch is required varies from pattern to pattern.
• You do not have to match gauge - just let me know what yours is so I can use it as a baseline at the end of the test knit.
• Plan to reuse your swatch yarn. Tips for this are included in the below video.
• See the next video on how to use a photo of your swatch to obtain the pattern.

Note for those who pull from the outside of the yarn cake: If you normally pull from the outer end of the yarn cake, you can cast on from the inside end and tuck the swatch in the center of the cake.
